Does the current mayor need to register to run or just anyone who wants to run against him/her? If so, does the mayor need to re-register every three weeks?

Answered my own question, one of my residents mentioned that he was not able to cast avote for me, that the current mayor is not listed automatically as a candidate.

I do have a question about the mayor registering to run. If I do not register, and nobody registers against me, do I remain mayor? Been looking for an answer but have yet to find one. I want to make sure before the city hall poofs if I don't register. Not that I'm increadibly lazy, just curious before something bad happens.

shew! That's a relief sincemy mayor character appears to bebugged and the ballot box doesn't show that I've registered him (numerous times & /bugged).

Just so you all know, we had a city eat it self. And the only explanation we have tyus far is that the current mayor did not run for office And since the city had no mayor it was destroyed. And SOE will not help out, This was a lvl 5 city and had almost 200 residents.

Actually that is impossible since the voting period is not older than two weeks.

Sounds more like a destructive mayor taking down the city hall.
