Ok. I think I know the answer to this one already, but I want to be 100% certain.
One of my fellow citizens sent out an email to our guild, warning people that a person not from our guild had registered to run against me. I went to have a look for myself, and sure enough, there he was. Abstain! LOL
Just to be certain, I tried to enter him in as a friend, and got the expected "Abstain is not a valid friend name" in return. Sooooo I checked my residents. Not there. Seems common sense, Mr. Abstain is just an option not to vote. I don't see the sense in it, per se, but I see no harm in it either. I'm really just wondering if anything official has been put out on this option, and if anyone else has seen it. It wasnt there when 11.2 first came out.
Thanks! ^_^

Abstaining should be assumed.. Now if they had vote current mayor to prevent the current mayor for leaving that would be great for mayors that go on holidays... it wuld then give current outgoing mayors votes without them re-registering manually.
