Thread: Planet City Level Cap

How do I know before i place my guild and town hall down.... that I won't run into a level cap due to too many other cities? How do i find out what the cap even is, and then how close it is to being filled?
I don't want to get a city going and then find out i'm stuck at level 2.

Greetings,
Well for starters: there is no ingame search option or a news flash on the SOE sites, so A: Seak up another mayor of a current town, first thoese on level 2 and ask if he/she is stuck - if yes, then ...
my Thoughts, My own city is stuck on level 2, we have 46 citizens as of now, a bank, cantina and garage - and a strong community - eventho we are "only" on rank 2, we still got a great time, sure cloning, shuttleports and all are nice, but we do what we can with what we have and use it to the fullest

This should help you with the different city caps of each planet.
(The first number is total planet cap. The second is the number of cities that can be rank 3, and the third number is the number of cities that can be rank 4 and up.) (This info along with other useful info can be obtained in game through the knowledge base.)
Corellia: 20, 15, 10
Dantooine: 50, 30, 20
Lok: 50, 30, 20
Naboo: 20, 15, 10
Rori: 50, 30, 20
Talus: 50, 30, 20
Tatooine: 20, 15, 10

but as warning , those numbers are severly bugged on some planets on some servers
