Thread: city disband the story comes to an end

Not sure if people care about this but i'm posting anyway lol
I have the regret to inform that my mayor and me have taken the decision to disband our city (Thedoras, Naboo, Eclipse)... after a lot of thinking, we concluded it doesn't worth the work we put into it.
If it's normal to see a city dies, I would like to give the true reason for this
with a rank cap system completly buged on Eclipse, we got screwed again and again by SOE system, even with 75 citizens and a city desapearing on the planet, we never had the change in one year to advance in rank 4, get a proper range and a shuttle to develop and finish our city... (neither did any other city we one city despeared, no one could evolve, great system)
which i might add was the most boring thing I ever encounter in this game (from my point of you of course, but my main play style was guild and city, and my people was gratefull for that), part of this is because i could never get a proper official statement on what was going on on my server and the "bugged" ranks... not a damn true word i could use to explain my peoples what's the hell going on...CSR were contradicting themselves (2 or 3 said that cap have been raised to 20 rank 4 lol, other said the contrary), right here i could never have an answer as well (but for sure no one know and i only blame devs)... so I guess i will never know if the fact that some major planet (like naboo on Eclipse) have more than 10 shutlle is a bug or not... whatever, just boring to see how in 5 month i get no answer...
so, seeing how bugged it was, many citizen left the city of course... and above all many left the game (mainly because of the turn of it, and the "jedi" crap (sorry, that's what i hear in the mouth of many guys leaving my guild and city))
now the city is down to 50 citizen, and i think there are a good bunch of inactive people in this... pfff
I see no point to continue this work, as I see no point continue playing this game (since my playing style was that city and my guild)... so, bye bye our city and i guess the 30 citizen remaining will make another city happy... and bye bye my account, as i'm really bored to have worked my ass one year for this and never got rewarded by those SOE screwer (sorry for the language i'm just sad and angry)

we have a similar problem with the city caps on our planet
one level 4 drop but no one was allowed to advance
but i found something out about it
there s a cap for 10 lvl cities on my world, but we atm have 12 of those (13 including the fallen one)
i asked a CSR and he told me there was a bug in the advancement system that allowed all lvl 3 in the same server city pulse to advance. So several planets exceeded the cap and cause a major bug

I'm sorry to hear this as we always had good relations with GOTH and visited your city a few times. I can completely understand having had enough when you put in so much work to get little out. I hope that wherever you go next you have more fun. Take care!
