Election results under the new system are starting to come in. I wonder ... for people running unopposed.
How many citizens in your city?
How many votes did you get?
How much XP did you get?
How much XP would you have got under the old rules?
How much XP did you gain/lose under the new system?
For me:
29 citizens.
12 votes.
4850 XP (12 x 100 x 3 + 750 x 3) received.
8700 XP (29 x 100 x 3) under old rules.
Net loss of 3850 XP over the three weeks (about 44%).
I've probably been pretty lucky under the circumstances to only lose that amount of XP. Other posters have reported turnouts around the 33% mark. I'm doubly lucky to have the election finish two days before I go on holiday for two weeks otherwise I would have missed the chance to register in the next election, which I will also win as the solitary candidate.
