Thread: Idea with new House Pack

I think it would be really great if at Master Politician the mayor would be able to pack up city residents homes and then have the option to either A) unpack them at a new location or B) keep them packed up.
I have many homes in prime real estate here in my city and with the new footprints it's difficult to squeeze things in the open space. Would be nice to move things around easily.
By living in the city people agree implicitly to be zoned . . .so this shouldnt cause any problems. And an email can be sent to them saying "your house has been moved". Also to avoid problems the mayor could have a time limit of 5 minutes to replace the house if the moving option is selected.
What doyou all think?

Hmm, if you packed someone's house, wouldn't they stop being a citizen? I don't think mayors should have that much power. It could be abused way too easily.

Packing a house revokes citizenship, so a mayor will never have this power
On another hand, the house packing may become automatic.
After a while after the player wasn't in the game, the structures are automaticaly packed up in his datapad.
-> citizenship revoked, area free for someone else.
The only issue so that every town is equal would be to also remove ghost citizens : those who are still citizens even if they don't have a house anymore in the town
