There is no resign option for a mayor. The only way to change mayors is through the election.

The only bugs I can confirm with the actual election process is that players that become a citizen during the election cycle have their votes automatically cast for the incumbent whether they are running or not. They can change this by going to the voting terminal and casting their vote for any registered candidate.

At the end of the three week cycle, the candidate with the most votes will become the mayor of the city. There have been reports of the admin rights of City Hall not transferring to a server reset.

Yea I'm not sure what you are unsure of here. If he is the only person running for mayor, he wins, even with 1 vote. It doesn't matter if half the population votes or not. Hope that helps!

I helped a group of my friend that started a town with there guild build there city on Lok, Naboo. The only reason I did this was cause I had 7 boxes in Politician trained and the Guild leader was novice. They had 35+ citizens that had broken off and split with there preivous town/guild and wanted to have City perks placed that they could not do with a Novice Politician.When I agreed to help them. I said that as soon as the city was at the point that they did not need my service and/or I mastered politician. That the Guild leader could Take over since no more things would need to be placed. I figured that if i did not run for mayor and he did thathe would get the town as Mayor.....

Vell, RL made it so he was gone for a couple months. When he got back...Well over Halfthe Town had quit Due to CU... Leaving at least 20 Players still in town... This town has 67 Citizens. He is on the Term running as mayor. I am not. He only has 7 votes. I have this funny feeling that without half the citizens voting for him he is not going to get the Mayor Job.......

Is there any way I can bow out as Mayor and allow Him take over? I really dont want to take the town hall Down. As this would make so they have to Replace and rebuild the City.

However on a good news Side... The area around the city hall is populated by Nothing. So getting there City back to Rank 4 would not be hard. But the loss of there Shuttle among other city struture placed Down would make it Hard.

Any Ideas?

Yes, that helps alot. So he will win. Good...

Makes me feel better. I did not want to have to drop the city hall
