My Right Honorable Lord and Lady Mayors,
Greetings and Salutaions. We hope this day greets you well.
In times past, I have sought out other mayors interested in joining me in a Mayorial Convention or Naboo Parliment. I would like for us to discuss important matters before us, to include regular monthly meetings where we politicans can meet eachother, to discuss the recent ordanice requiring the increase medium house foot print, coordination of factional interests.
((I envision these meetings to be partial role-play events and partial practical meetings of like-minded people.))
At our first meeting we would discuss:
a) Name of our Assembly
1) Naboo Parliment
2) Naboo Assembly
3) Landsraad of Naboo (Landsraad from the Anglo-Saxon word meaning meeting of the Landed)
4) Naboo Diet or Duma
b) Meeting Place of our Assembly
1) Ancient Capital building in Deeja Peak
2) Theed Palace
3) Hosted in guild halls in various Naboo (player) cities
c) Frequency of Meetings
1) Monthly
2) Every other Month
d) Division and adoption of Traditional Naboo titles
*** Naboo is a traditional semi-feudal culture. Many feudal titles are inherited or elected posts. I would like us to adopt titles that would reflect the size of the cities we represent. I offer this template:
Metropolis = Duchy, mayor would be called Duke or Duchess
City = Earldom, mayor would be called Earl or Countess
Township = County, mayor would be called Count or Countess
Village and Outpost= Barony , mayor would be called Baron or Baroness
Additionally, I would like to have certin style and color of dress assigned to each class
*** Points to keep in mind... this would be a multi factional event.. but those of "Allience" sympathies should be discreet of their political positions.
