Hi, Our city currently has no active mayor and we are trying to come up with ideas to vote in the "mayor in waiting", but due to a number of inactive memebers this is proving more difficult than first suspected.

One suggestion is to go on a recruitment drive and find new residents, but with that comes the same problem if they cancel their account. I was thinking of inviting a few players who I know to come to our city, get a house, declare, vote and ultimately deleted their house and undeclare residency.

If this is possible, are there any problems in doing so? What would the status of the players be who have declared elsewhere? Would that cause them to lose their current house where they originally declared?

As I say, this is just a suggestion. Can I please have any input as to whether this would work.

I do not have any Politician skills, I am just trying to help elect a new mayor before our city dies !!

Thanks in advance

No, but there is a bug where if you declare in one city than move to another city and declare you can be a resident of both cities. It is a bug though and it seems to happen to some players and not others.
