Word from an Armorsmith:

Pyollian cake gives me an assembly bonus, which will be all that I will ever need when I hit master, and it will just about gaurantee by itself that I will never fail an assembly roll ever again, and it's way cheaper than 200k a week.

I am curious b/c it sounds like a pretty nice title and city specialization. It is quite costly at 200k/week but may be worth it for crafters. So who all has set their city to this? And how has it gone over?
Also what have you done to help cope with the cost... I know my town is in some financial trouble, and that is one HUGE thing I want to do as mayor is make the city a bit more self sufficient.
Also are the FS Skills in addition to this system or not?

in short: noone.

the specialization was taken out because it was buggy, and they didn't update the SOE webpage (yes, I have msged 2 forum mods about it, but it hasn't been changed) I know that research is a popular choice though, especially if you have a lot of crafters in your city.

ah well that answers that....

Guess I won't be looking forward to that. I am new to the whole poli thing in game at least. Just trying to see what kinds of things I can really do with it.

As far as research centers go, has there been any real study done on them, to see if the bonus is really that helpful?

well, the devs said that all active specializations are working (I'll take that as "as intended"), and everyone else seems to say it's working. not sure how "helpful" it is though, my crafter's a tailor O.o

There is always a chance of a failure - it never hurts to have a little bit extra better of a chance

Of course, then you have to justify the cost. The logic simply comes down to how many people benefit from it and by how much...

It would be nice to have the Industrial Society... I still havea PM from Green Marine saying that they accidentally took out those master poli specializations and that they would be back soon. This was like 10 months ago, and of course they never put them back in.

I was told that they were bugged, hence they took them out. guess they never got around to fixing it... especially since GM is probably still working on JTL

Yep yep. We've been patienly wating for awhile for this. Allthough now I don't seea great value in the option. We have existed without for a long time. We reached rank five, 5 weeks after the city software patched and have tried a number of specalizations.

I can only hope the rewrite the entire process and I imagine as it was just pointed bout we will have a long wait. Our developer is the primary on JTL.

I am going to do more with Entertainment District testing, but what I did so far it didn't seem to do anything.

if you did testing and can post results (numbers would be ideal since I can directly quote them) to show that it's not working, I can have a chat with the ent corrs and take it to the corr forum. not that I haven't been spamming there enough lately O.o

I second that notion... I wish that ent district increased buff size... would make it quite a bit more desriable... There are a few med centers on radiant and they do get visitors there to do there buffs before battles and such... a ent district would encourgae more people to visit player cities instead of npc ones

For Master Politician, the should have a space travel specialization. Along with the specialization, you have to be a metropolis - then you get to place a spaceport.
