Man, I guess I should stop run around with the Politician title up. Some people love us and some really hate us. Wow, I have hada lotof comments thrown at me latly. More than when I wear my ST armor. (People seem to hate that too. lol)
"OMG another Politician"
"Theres a Politician, Lets kill him"
"lol I killed the mayor"
Just a few I have heard a few times. They love when they killed me too. Like it's a challenge. Being a Politician and an Armorsmith leaves me very few SP for fighting professions. So I fall down alot anyhow.
I'm not complaining. Don't really care just thought it was funny.
Well ..... What about you? What kind of Politician flack have you taken?

I haven't noticed any hate of politicians. In the middle of a presidental election, you're gonna get some comments. it's just how people are. Have fun with it. If you're dueling residents, tell them how much their income tax will increase each time you lose.

silly... I leave my "warmaster" title up, usually noone bothers me 
although folks get upset when I won't group with them for bigger missions.

Whenever I PvP I use Warmaster (excpeting when I forget to switch over from statesman) and I'm pretty sure nobody knows what that means. I've been asked a few times and they were surprised it was a poli tag. I also get housing/furniture orders whenever I'm an urban planner.Whenever I do go out and get killed nobody bothers me about it. Howeverwhen anybody does give me flak I tend to shoot out about me being a master merchant and near master poli, not the hardest of targets. I mean honestly,would you brag about killing a gnort?

It's a fun side of our profession, someone love joking with us (we have the power...or not?), but above that i think we are respected.

I haven't seen any type of hatred to politicians (I no long PvP either). I have had a few residents of the opposing faction ask me when I will be covert so they can assassinate me but that is basically said in fun. I know a few politicans that PvP and keep the title Warmaster up or Novice Politician and basically no one has gone out of their way to target them and then brag about it. I think that because very few politicans PvP and whenone does PvP the opposition sorta have fun with it.

when i first started the game, i bragged about my first gnort kill. that sucker was tough against a novice marksman's CDEF pistol.
