was wondering if i could somehow set up a voting terminal or ballot box in city hall for setting up a way to vote on certain issues. like city changes things like that.

Architects make just that, but the tallying only lasts one day so they are pretty much useless. Send out a town mail askign for a reply to get a feel for how people would respond to an issue. It's simpler and pretty effective.

the arch-made ballot boxxes wipe all data on server restart, The last time I tried to use one, rori crashed 3 times and I had to set it up again. Assuming stability is beter than that, could set it up friday night, and take it down sat night, but much more reliable to send email
