We have a city with a current population of around 60 citizens. Our current Mayor has had his attention and gameplay time taken away by real life issues.

One of our current options is to replace him with a temporary Mayor until he can return to normal play.

My question is, what happens if we were to vote in a novice politician? (Only novice skill, no other skill boxes in politician)Would our structures like shuttleport just disapear? Maintenance go up? Lose trainers?

Do we need a politician with similar skill levels to our current mayor for our city to maintain normal operation?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

I concur you even get to keep specialization.. so I suggest that the current mayor set up the thing you want to set up and then take his temporary leave
