As we all know that there is much wrong with player cities, I would like very much to know which publish number is going to focus on these issues.

Even if this is a relatively far off publish number, I am guessing that the devs have some sort of timeline worked out... just some idea would be great!!!

None, they do not even want to fix droid engineer they would rather roll out Corevette and other new Combat oriented things to try and make you forget there is a problem.

Dev's: "HEY LOOK OVER HERE SHINEY NEW THING!"

Player 1: "oh look shiney new thing i want it, i need it!"

Player 2 (skeptic): "what about fixing my character class? there is something wrong with this profession?"

Player 1: "SHUT UP WE WANT THE SHINEY NEW THING!!!"

player 2: "yes but i have been playing since day one and this is still broken i am paying the same amount of money every month as you are and yet i don't get any new features except my profession gets worse or i get one tiny mention while they work on imbalancing something else....."

player 1: SHUT UP ASSHAT YOU ARE RUINING IT FOR US ALL I HATE YOU! WE HATES YOU!

player 2: can i get a response fromt he dev's i'm getting tired of being flamed here and want an answer.

Dev's: "SHINEY NEW THING!!!!"

player 2: Please fix current issues!

DEV's: SHINEY NEW THING!!!

player 1: SHINEY NEW THING!!!

player 2: please...... fix the old problems!

player1: SHUT UP! SHINEY NEW THING!

DEV's: (triumphant) SHINEY NEW THING!

release of publish: player 2 (discouraged): this is actually a nerf not a fix.

Player 1: man that was cool did you see that oh wait it wore off already okay need another SHINEY NEW TOY!!!

Dev's: good we have consolidaed the masses into thinking that they want what ever usless dribble we can ppoor out to them and keep them happy with a new passing fad while we absorb their money each month the few disgruntleds we can pacify with usless patches every publish and an occasional answer about how they are important..... in other words we win we drag them on for month and months and only catter tot he combat classes who do not think but instead feed us with money each month to play our game and spend 3 hours a day waiting to use a shuttle.absolute profit margins so what is next weeks answer for the shiney new thing requests?

Dev team 1: we will need to fix the buggs in the current patch the new stuff we rolled out is breaking things and wea re in danger of losing the shiney new followers.

Dev Team lead: fix it and put player 2's requests on teh back burner again, or just give them part of the finished product that should keep them quiet a bit longer.

Even publish 18 would be an answer at this point... I'd simply like to hear the more extended timeline, They are sure to have one written up. Seeing that they planned the SE since pre-gold, I can't imagine them missing the opportunity to hold meetings and form committees presented by the need to write up an 18 month plan (the sarcasm here was really only in good-natured-humor :smileywink

Seriously though, let us know more of what's in store... I for one am willing to respect the fact that these things take time... I just want to know what is important to the devs... so thenwe playerscan compare this with what is important to us an possibly even plan some time off of SWG on the order of a month or two based upon when things will be getting repaired...

I think that is a rational and respectable request.

Yeah, it would be nice if they answered a lot of the threads.. but its not going to happen.

Even if they did, they would give a "Dev Answer".

I love you! This is so freakin true it makes me sick. I have been away for a bit due to the birth of my little girl a week ago, and when I come back on, I run to Bestine to check to see if Victor won. He did! Yay Imperial banner for me yay! Oh, the quest is broken it seems.

It took them a month to offer me a shiney new thing and it was broken. Makes sense...
