Agreed on the hotfix our drift is up to 88 meters now. Th stated that it would be in the publish early this week, and people calmed down about it somewhat...well it doesnt look like the publish is coming early this week...we need a fix for this sooner, not later.

1. Galaxy: Kettemoor
2. Planet: Dantooine
3. City Name: SANCTUARY
4. Original City Waypoint: Not sure
5. Current City Waypoint: Not sure
6. Meters difference between the two. 20 meters East x 20 meters South based on cardinal axis check. (Riding from the city hall waypoint in each direction produced a 20 meter variation from West to East and North to South. Verified multiple times to account for server update lag at minimum walking speed.
7. The amount of time between placing your city and now (best guess): Day 1 city.

Hmmm, I wonder if this is even getting looked at (the thread I mean).

It sure would be nice to get a status report, even if it is just: sorry folk, nothing new to tell ya.

Although that would suck at least we would know we are getting bent over, and we dont have to hold onto this false hope.

Hello Plinka et al!

I'm just another concerned player who is wondering where this is going and what is being done by the Devs/CSRs with regards to this.

It's been an issue since the 4th of December and some players, like me, can't even FIND their City Hall anymore.

I've been searching and searchig for info and even a response to my /bug I entered on the 7th but the only thread I've seen on this issue so far has been the Official City Drift Thread- which consists of around 4 pages of players with this problem.

I'm sure I'm not the only curious about what the problem was to begin with and what is being done to fix it. Especially to those unfortunates who can no longer even FIND their halls.

Have you heard anything Plinka?

Thanks for listening,

-Na

The Dev's stated that there will be a hotfix tomorrow.

Now for all of you who lost something with this issue(to safe you some trouble with submitting tickets.), most likely you won't get anything back. We got our response to the ticket today, which told us only mayors can delete city halls, so our MUST have done it. Next time get reliable mayor, thank you and have a nice day.
Fact is our mayor was at work seen by at least 5 ppl I know, and he was DEFINITLY not online as our city hall disapeared. (with morning maintaince)
*/me is really really mad now)

They'd get bored as hell doing that after a while, and then I'd be through with having conversations for the rest of my life."

Server: Scylla
Planet: Dantooine
City: Armageddon
Original Coords: Will Post later
Current Coords: Ditto
As of last night I was informed we had drifted 60m from original location. Again I will Post the exact coords when I can log on. We have already had to have 10 citizens move their houses in the last 3 days to compensate.

One other note of concern that I have not heard voiced here, is that if the "fix" patch or hot fix is implemented, will that restore the city center (city hall) to the center of the city. if so, We will then be back in the awkward position of having to have residents move again. If we could at least get a little clarification on what the Solution to this drift problem will be.

Thanks,

Weldon Green
Mayor of Armageddon

1. Valcyn

2. Talus

3. Wassabiopolis

4. Original location = 2460, -668

5. Current location = 2460, -544

6. Shift = 124m and sliding north

7. Placed 13 Nov.

At the current rate the City Hall will no longer be in the city limits tonight or sometime tomorrow. If it's not recentered by Thursday, we will have 1 person living in the city limits when it updates and we will lose the city. Every time we try to move a house back into the city limits, it shifts farther.

Well, ours is still screwed up . . . WE'RE A WHOLE METER OFF!!!!

In other words, I'm not complaining.

Although I'm going to keep an eye on it to make sure that one meter is not the first step in more drifting, of course. Did any of the cities that lost their Halls receive any compensation or replacement? Anything we can do to help you get back in the door?

Oh our city is "fixed" alright. I knew we were a little off center, but the fix erradicated both our cloning and shuttle services. They are just GONE. When I try to place a new shuttle it says we already have one grrrrr
