I have earned Master Politician.. but I'm not taking it. As it is, I am Master Entertainer and Novice Rifleman. I can't see droping any points either way for an empty skill box. I'd have to give up my T21 Riflefor atitle that doesnt benefit me or my town (yet) in anyway.

If it gave me a use skills, I'd happily trade it in.. but as it stands now it is a total, absolute waste of skill points.

Right now, the best part of getting master politician is the badge. And that's just sad

Though I do get a few "oohs" and "ahhs" at the starport.

Ok.. I took the title, but feel cheated. I also lost the rifle points to get Novice Rifle back - so more grinding. BUT I'm on Lok to serve my city and there's not much on this planet I can take with just an E11.

So... color me bummed...

I made Master Politian the other week.

I know its not much - but I for one would like the option of having a title "Senator" - would fit with the storyline and at least give something to work with as far as Roleplaying goes.

Agreed.

Not even the master title is cool... which is really the only benefit to getting the skill box... all of the next teir down titles are much better, from an RP perspective, than is Master Politician....

Oh well... I still find the job rewarding.

I suggest skills such as Populate city ( Pupulating your city with the Mission giving NPC's that are in static cities. Also being able to place crafting stations around the city as in a static city. The specializations are good idea but it is just more numbers. We need something unique in the master politician box and something that will keep us wanting to stay a politician. Right now it is you get master and give up down to a minimum amount of skills. It reminds me alot of master Merch, it is just a point sinch and should not be a full profession or be drasticly revamped.

If you look under the advance guide for cities, master politicians are suppose to get cool specializations... i can't wait until they actually implement those my citizens would love them!

in the future patch notes player cities will be getting some player based missions, which is a really cool concept..........I wonder if that means player bounties?
