WALLS!

Wall your city in just like Bestine.

City Lvl 1 No Walls

City Lvl 2 Walls with 1 Entrance to City.

City Lvl 3 Walls with 2 Entrances to City.

City Lvl 4 Walls with 4 Entrances to City.

City Lvl 5 Walls with 5 Entrances to City.

These Walls would come in different sizes, designs and colors. Different Arcs and Entrance Types can Also be Made.

I'm interested in upgrading my twenty eight point eight kilobaud internet connection to a one point five megabit fibre-optic T-1 line. Will you be able to provide an IP router that's compatable with my token ring ethernet LAN configuration?

The ability to CLEARLY see how you place homes, buildings and stuff. The outline is killing me and can be extremely confusing for some people.

/bump and agree with most

For any bean counters - my top priorities:

1. Detailed income reporting, to include message when someone donates money to the treasury

2. Removing the "/grantzoningrights" from militia or, as some have proposed, have different ranks of militia. If this stays, it will *severely* limit who I grant militia status to. "Good Combat Type" DOES NOT equal "Good City Planner"

** New Wish ** (do not recall seeing this mentioned yet)

  • Only allow current citizens to view the City Treasury information.

I've read on various forums that some mayors are asking their citizens not to donate too much money to their treasury as a lucrative treasury could make the city a target for a potential hostile takeover.

This is a good point.

My wishlist....

1) The city hall having one door bugs me. I realize changing the architecture now is probably tough, but why doesn't the city hall open outward in all 4 directions? The city doesn't necessarily face one direction, so why does the hall? I would like at least one more entrance on the backside, so the people who live on that side don't feel like they've been pushed to the back.

2) Corrolary to #1, give the city hall a roof area, so I can survey my domain

3) Mob lairs are making placement of buildings tough sometimes. They create a huge nobuild area around the spawn, which has confused people trying to place their houses near the edges of the city. I've had to clear out at least a dozen spawns since I became mayor, just to make sure my citizen could build where he wanted. Can we not have mobs spawn close enough to cause a nobuild inside the city?

4) Move shuttle port to city level 3. If Mos Entha can have multiple shuttle ports and be a ghost town, then why can't my city have one with 35 people?

Some good ideas. In addition to these

  • City Bulletin board where citizens can read and post messages

  • City bulk email option for the Mayor

  • Merchant Tent 1*1 footprint and uses Vendor slot instead of Property Lot

  • Master Merchant structure option (Corporate Office)

  • A "Value Added" for things like gardens, statues and fountains. Unless it is more than esthetic they are a waste of skill points and resources for many.

I think there is already a city bulk-mail option...

My single largest issue with player cities is:

Let us but our corellian houses on Talus.

You can build Corellian houses on Talus, just not pre-patch ones.

I'd like to see a jubilee wheel available in the Cantina, and I'd like to have the footprint and functionality of Player Garages.

Also, we need a hitching post for all these **edit** kaadu.

And a water trough!

I have looked around just to make sure this doesnt exist already, but I think it is a VERY important safeguard that should be in place.

--In order to destroy a city hall (city) mayor needs to have at least majority vote on the action. 2/3rds would be more appropriate.

I think the reasons speak for themselves, but for those who are wondering, imagine a group of hostiles somehow get into your city through one of many ways, get mayor, destroy city in one poof then use that open slot to start their own city a very far distance away.

Anyway you slice it a mayor shouldnt have that overwhelming power over the existence of a city without the citizens having a role in that process.

As far as "City beautification" items I would like to see:

1. Streets in some form would be really help PCs look a lot nicer.

2. I would like the ability to place (inside or outside) faction flags or standards. I would be perfectly fine if they would cost FP from a recruiter, but I think they could really help out faction towns and PAs look more like they are in the GCW.

1-Add admin to the city hall

2-FIX PUDDLES ON RORI SWAMP! **RELAXED RESTRICTIONS** ARE NOT WORKING ON RORI FOR WATER.

3-Ability to declare council members and assign them certain powers in case the mayor is offline

A lot of the ideas I see here are awesome!

4-Post Office idea is incredibly needed!!! (Yay for whoever mentioned it above)
