I don't understand ... wouldn't it also have been possible to put down a faction base outside the conroled radius in the old configuration? I really doubt they would have put a check into that ...


And besides ... bases can be detroyed ... just check out the times when, tell several opposing factions, grant a few people militia rights ... and let them destroy the **edit** thing.

i have a quick question, can other factional buildings/installations be place within city limites? i.e. turrest, minefeilds so on

There you have it, now that you have given bases, they ask more. Soon I'll wake up with a covert detector in the city I'm the mayor of, without having been able to do anything about it.

I think you will find that as a Mayor you are able to restrict placement of all buildings. I would assume that this would include such things as covert scanners, turrets and minefields.


I doubt anyone has actually got around to testing this yet though

If someone drops something int he uncontrolable zone.... it's not really a problem until it becomes part fo the controlable zone.... at which point you can have the militia ban anyone that enters the building until it is no more.... or if it's a base and you really want to get rid of it..... hire some members of the opposite faction to dispose of it for you.... you're a roleplayer....use your imagination, there are tons of possibilities...

If someone drops a field of harvesters and factories into your uncontrolled zone it's even worse. So what's the big deal about faction bases?

is this still correct, Faction Bases can be included in towns still? Don't mean to rehash over it, but we are in final planning stages of our town, and confimation of this is crucial for our plans.

yeah Im curious myself... aside from this thread I have heard nothing else about it. Do any TC cities have faction bases in them at this time?
