Flynn...nice flames on the guy. Dont see where that is called for.

Not really much left to add since Korrack pretty much responded to your ideas and such. One thing though on the cantina. 5 lots really isnt that much to ask for it. Also, the owner can declare it as their residency. Try being the player who gets stuck being the owner of a Naboo Pa Hall...that takes 9 lots.

It really depends, IMO, on how long you have been a politician and even at what level your city is at.Ive been mayor since patch day and it was 95% fun the first month or so growing the city to Level 4. However, there really isnt anything else to do. We are at 77 players and have no intention growing to a Metro since it gives no perks and only costs more a week. We do add a couple ofpeople a week into the city but that is just thru word of mouth or if we add the person to our guild.

For me, mayor for the most post is pretty boring now. I made Master Politician and have been dropping all the sp as I need it for other professions. The only thing I will keep is the ability to add people to militia. The city is totally decorated and Im maxed out on what I can place now anyways.

For those new to the professsion or have a new city have fun...It is cool growing it.

How many emails have you gotten today saying how cool your city looks? To me, that makes the cost of them worthwhile, and if it helps others move in, effectivly paying for themselves..then so be it.

Sure, there are things we want. Indeed, things we NEED. but to downplay a positive because you didnt get what you wanted? Thats like giving back a Christmas gift because you wanted the yellow and simply refuse the red.

We're getting alot next publish that we're being told about. Shuttles are changing..etc. Look how much they gave us without telling us in 7... 8 will hold more. maybe not the "yellow" thing you want.. but certainly a red in the very least. So sit back, say thanks and realise that more and better is coming in time. After all, we got our shuttle times to a very respectable 5 minute wait and planet to any planet travel...

That, to me.. was more important that anything else in this game because it concerns all players, not just me. I can wait for my own needs to be filled if its for the overall betterment of the community.

Other then that we have little to no control we can palce a few structures.... that is not control.

Ther are lots of things i think that have been done well, the time invested on cracking down on duping and fixing the economy is good. The ignorance of the facts about what our requests are and have been and what we were given is just another point of missing the mark and for that i will not be silent. Look as i stated previously if you were paying me a service, a fee every month for access to the internet and i quoted you a certain price and what you would get for that and instead what you really got was dial up speed not high speed access. Would you have the right to be upset? voice your opinion and dislike?

Now say you voice that opinion and everyone that works for the company passes you off to someone else and in the end you get no response. You are then contacted with a representative from the company someone who works for me and they tell you submit your issues to me i will bring it up. That person then does and the response you get out of your top 5 issues is number 10. you get a garage. Garages were the least of the concerns for the politican, we have been requesting things since this profession came out that we have been ignored on. Things that would be SO easy to Hotfix they should not even be an issue. A one line mention of Hotfix added BioE trainer for politican recruit trainer command.

No that was not done instead the issue was you asked for high speed service you got Dial up. when you called and asked for your money back or your high speed service to be what it was advertised as you got NONE OF THE ABOVE BE HAPPY WITH WHAT WE GIVE YOU.

if you want to settle for that fine settle for that, that is your choice but i can not see this as Christmas. Christmas wouldf be a simple matter of Wow surprise you did nto know we were doing this you did not ask for anything but here i am giving you this new what ever.....

This is not christmas this is a complaint department and you are 100% right i am not satisifed that garages which came later down the line as an issue ie vehicles which came out several weeks after player cities and the noticed issues of lack of xp gaines, no roll over of city, shifting city radius, non Bio E trainer, No Spy Net Operative, removal of /citywarn (and subsequent death of this profession), then along came hey we have vehicles but no garages....... why? was it chosen out of all the others? 5 months into this profession (forgive me if my time frames are off i forget when politician came out i have been doingit for so long.) and the best we can get in a major publish is - Drumroll - garages?

HOW THE HECK DID THEY MISS THAT MARK? no this is not christmas because the dev's are not santa claus. this is called customer support and they picked the bottom of the list to provide us with something that would only pacify us and distract us from the real issue.

We are supposed to be happy with that?

Oh and Santa Claus never requires me to pay him 15$ a month to get a gift.

what else did we get oh hey it only took 9 months to write in the "/move up"command. Now that's worth 4.2 mil a month right? (numbers based upon one account per 275k player base as stated a few months ago).

Oh and Santa he never makes makes mistakes!

Very true about the gift thing. Me being the one who openly, multiple times called for a month long player boycott to force the issue of shuttle times.. should have realised your point.

but really, we do have alot. And to that extent.. I fully understand the devs needs and desires to handle what they feel is critical first. If they have to settle for dropping candy here and there to somewhat appease those they cannot immediatly address there concerns to, then so be it. I for one am happy that we at least got something, albeit.. no longer a Christmas gift.

Indeed, there are dozens of issues Id like fixed with this profession NOW, but I also understand that within any given publish period (month) there are only so many hours to work with... and to that I have to be patient.

One of my major frustrations with the "New Corporate America" is companies like SOE taking the rights of the buyer away from the buyer... making us "priviledged" to be able to play their games.. **edit** them... it really pisses me off to no end and if, in this case, they wouldnt have removed the 10 minute wait down to 5 for shuttles, I would have begun some sort of movement to boycott them.. one man army or not.

btw, my last post wasnt a flame against you. the only derogatory remark (smacktard) wasnt addressed at you per se'... but at the over all juevenil behaviour we see daily on the servers.. namely the afk macro'rs.

They why was it used in a singular manor and not plural with comments clearly indicitive of the "smacktards" you are refering to as Macroers?

macros are tools to be used and there is nothing wrong with them, if someone chooses to macro something so be it and good for them they were able to figure out a tool at their disposal to help them with a game.

I for one see nothing wrong with that un the game it's annoying to go toa cantina full of AFK dacners shouting their advertisements etc.. the point is it's still their 15$/month more power to them for getting the most out of it. heck i am sick of sitting and waiting every time i miss a shuttle or what not for 10 minutes to get anywhere. In the movie as rich as my toons are they would hop in what ever ship they had or charter a lift with a smuggler for immediate lift off.

not sit around and wait for another shuttle to arive.

I'll be glad to give you the benefit of the doubt that you may not have directed it towards me but then how do you explain your directed negative comments on another thread directyl at me being a member of bria?
