About having several masters of the same profession.

We do not regulate them at all. They each run their business to the best of their abilities. If they want to make some kind of agreement with each other then fine. If they want to compete head to head that's fine as well. Nothing heated has come up so far. And Trinity City has been up since long before player cities came out. (Though we moved the day they came out) Remember the mayor doesn't have to settle every spat between the crafters.

What kind of specific problems is Rauha having between it's crafters?

Actually, we're not having any problems at all. Our crafters made their agreements outside of any real influence by the city management. I was just wondering if other cities had problems with overlaps, and was looking for examples of how they handled it, in case it ever happened in Rauha. So far it's been a very harmonious relationship between all the crafters. But, of course, we don't want to step on toes either by inviting direct competition into the city, at least knowingly.

The recent decision for CSA to move from Braxis, however, brings this issue back up. Should I extend an invitation for them to move to Naboo (only 1300m from where they were situated before)? Or should I not, because our local weaponsmith is just getting on his feet from a long absence? It's that crux between preserving a "home town" feel and doing something that may bring a lot more commerce into the city that of course is something we should decide on as a city. I wasn't sure how crafters feel about direct competition being invited into the city.

City is blossoming around us. Reached level 2 this morning which made us all very happy. Was able to place our cantina and mission terminals. We are currently looking for citizens to help the city grow, and so far have been very successful at that. We hope to have enough citizens by the next update to hit level 3 and be able to register the city. Im really enjoying working with my fellow citizens and friends to make this work, its something new and fun. Will report next week with updated info where needed.

This Week in Aurora, Naboo -- Flurry Server

We are preparing to have our first wedding in the city hall. I am excited about officiating and having what will amount to our first all-city party, since making metropolis.

Aurora is a Rebel aligned citywhich led us to establish a defensive wall of medium houses where we will be placing numerous Rebelbases. I am looking forward to Aurora rejoining the GCW after many months out of the fight. We are now looking at the rest of the city's structures and how the city is laid out. The city council and I are discussing how we could go about establishing a more neighborhood oriented city that is less cattywompas in its layout. ---yes I used the phrase cattywompas, I think I am going to try to use it in a RL business meeting today and see what the reaction is.

We are also preparing the second in a series of city-wide surveys. The first one was very successful, and provided us with a terriffic view of who lives in the city, how they play SWG, where they play SWG and a little bit about their real life personnas. I consider this to be one of the better community building efforts since the city was established.

We continue to run adventures to popular locations such as the Corvette and the Deathwatch bunker with all citizens being invited to the raid(s). These are great for building a close-knit community.

Finally, we launched our teamspeak server and have been enjoying the ability to audibly converse with the members of our city. We split the server into areas for raids, general metro chat, and seperate chat areas for each guild in the city. Whenever I log into it, I make sure that I stop by each area to see how everone is doing. It is fantastic for my morale to hear that they are having a good time in and around Aurora.

Cheers!
