Thread: Medium Naboos
I have holes in an outer "wall" (which had multiple entrance points around the city, hardly keeping anyone form content) that now cannot be filled with any structure in the game. I have an inner "wall" around our bases (again, with multiple entrances by design) that will now remain only about 80% completed. Furthermore, we have multiple rows of housing within the city that should a house go down due to a player moving, leaving the game, etc, we will not be able to replace either. Yes, the city desing of this 115 citizen metropolis has been utterly ruined by this change.
Too put it as mildly as I can, I would very much like to see this changed back. Given that a change was made to allow passage between existing buildings, there is absolutely no functional need for the footprint change that has been made.
I am very distressed about this.
Not much else to say. Others have put the issues out there for me.
Is the main reason for this "fix" to prevent players from blocking off content (POIs)?
If so... who designed those locations so that could happen? Punish =them=!

There should be a no build zone near POIs. This change to Naboo houses is just stupid.
The main reason for this fix was that the Naboo mediums were never meant to be right up against each other. If you think about the size of the actual house compared to others, this new footprint is much more in line with the actual house design. I *think* it may have been the footprint originally designed for this house.
That aside, changing the footprint this far into the game when so many things have been planned and placed was a bad move. I've made sure they are aware of this and passed on links to several of the threads about it (in case they needed further persuasion). There are no guarantees that it will be reverted, but I do know that the issue has been passed on.

This remains my largest concern in the game.I run a city of currently 115 residents and 225 structures. We use nothing but Naboo housing, and this has crippled out ability to add new people following the city design, or replace the houses that have been taken down from people moving. Furthermore, the problem created by the medium houses affects all housing, not just medium houses. We have twa areas in the city where rows of small houses line the back of rows of medium houses. The new no-build area of the mediums now make it impossible to complete placement of small houses in these rows, or replace them.
Stop crying and adapt your design.
Take a look at the number of buildings you are asking me to move and adapt, many of which are sitting on the lots of people who have left the game, before you make such a remarkably ignorant comment.
