Thread: When is the cap going to be raised? Plinka or Devs please respond.
Hey monkey,
Do you have a link to where that info was posted? I have been looking at TC and the Dev tracker and announcements and have not seen anything there as far as a release date. I hope it is sooner then later ![]()
Thanks everyone for your input.

I don't know... on lowca.. we have 16 cities register across the map (looking pretty good and spread out somewhat) now... 9 more cities can be place somewhere... in the empty space (or already exist) now...
if it increase to 50.. that is a lot of cities (or outpost) out there...
this can be a bad thing.. why? cause this will reduce spawn (random spawn does not appear in town border.. I don't think mission does either)
50 cities at min 300mdiameter is a lot of space to cover.. (and 25 of them get as large as 1000 diameter)
There was a bug on Naboo Ahazi or SOE allowed that planet to be a test planet (probably the later). There were at least 25 city halls on day 1. And as I have stated elsewhere, lag is not noticably different on Naboo - it is still much much worse on Corellia and Dantooine.

I don't know quite how to put this, but i believe the city caps HAVE been raised. On Naboo, on the Ahazi server, there are no less than 26 player cities registered on the map, and that's not including the city I hold a mayorship over. Moreover, I refuse to believe that ours is the only town that has chosen not the register on the map at this time.
Someone set me straight if needs be, but I though that Naboo had a city cap of 10. It certainly doesn't in our galaxy.
Aha, that makes a lot of sense. After all, though I was elated, I couldn't understand how I might have been able to place a City Hall at 3 in the afternoon [central time] on the day cities went live.
For our sake I hope they keep Naboo this way. And you're right... still no crazy lag, no matter where I travel there.
