Thought I'd share a bit of an update for those that may not have seen it relating to Mayor's gaining the ability to move houses within their cities. It isn't much, but at least it has been acknowledged and is being considered.

Keep in mind that they didn't say they *will* allow it, only that it has been sent on for consideration. ![]()

actually it was on the test server but only for a little bit, they disabled it right pretty quickly. I'm taking it, it was because it caused alot of issues.
I really hope it happens though this will definately make things much easier hehe

As mayor I take the zoning to one more extreme. I place ALL buildings in my city and then do a /transferstructure to the player after it is set (add them to admin first). This ensures that the city plan is followed and there is no chance for a trouble maker to sneak in and try to disrupt your layout. You do need to keep at least 5 lots free for this but it is worth it.
I also agree that being able to move existing buildings or pack them up and pop them into players datapad would be an excellent feature for mayors to have.

I do the same thing with zoning in my city.
There are a few cases where I've allowed others to place, but only with me standing guard right over them. LOL
