City: Makarha's Estate

Since my last report, we have upgraded from an outpost to a village. I was able to place our bank, garage, and cantina. We also have our highly requested Imperial Mission Terminals. With the increase in rank, the restructuring of the city went on and took up most of my time. Now, we have an organized city layout with civic center, business district, industrial district, residential district and slave quarter.

I was able to get CC9 to stop by our newly decorated cantina, with much wheeling and dealing (and the crafting and donation of speeders to everyone). That was a triump which I will not soon forget. A big thank you to Javier and Doasa, and my own Kitsuney for helping me threaten... err, convince them to come to our quiet little city.

Sadly, I still have sqatters on the outskirts of our city. One has not once answered any emails sent to them, and even placed a second house after my intial attempts to contact them regarding moving into the city proper. Recently, a new house popped up - right outside my bank, cantina and business house. I sent them an email as well, no reply yet. That one really upset me.

But on a positive note, we may be increasing in rank again soon, if negoiations go through to get a large role-play community that is looking to be part of a role-play friendly city, to move in.

Sales are up again now that producation has picked up, but we're barely clearing enough each week to maintain the city and our purchases. I may have to go back to harvesting our own resouces rather than outsourcing for them until sales pick up even more.

Other than that, we've been having fun.

Nothing like breaking up the monotony of creating and deleting vendors in hopes of getting a decent one, by role-playing out sending your guild assassin to have a chat with the local hutt lord in charge of new slaves and telling him to stop sending substandard chattel our way (pink hair, green fur... ::shudders:: totally unacceptable in my Bothan vendor slaves). We've got an enemy in Durga Hutt now, but we're not upsetting Jabba Hutt any time soon.

Strangely enough, since that RP session, I get a lot more suitable vendors than not. Weird.
