We've managed to maintain Metropolis status and new citizens keep trickling in. The militia has been fantastic at recruiting and assisting new citizens. Our shops have seen a slight decrease in foot traffic since the Village patch, but things are still steady.

A leading citizen is trying to bring back socializing in the cantina. She regularly entertains there and has managed to do quite well for leveling and give the citizens back a social center of town. This is especially important for us since most citizens are scattered across the galaxy following the Force.

2 guilds in town have merged. Overall the decision seems to be a good one. It is also providing players more of a chance to have contact with fellow citizens. Guild leadership is working on a roleplaying "spin" since the Rebel guild now has imperial members as well.

An anonymous citizen is starting another role playing arc in the town. This one involves threats against my life and my family. It started a new months ago and faded away. We've been having good luck with RP events, so its starting up again. If I'm correct in my hunch who's behind it, it should be a cool and interesting story. Unfortunately, RL will keep me from taking part a whole lot.

Our website has been another useful tool. Its just a simple message board, but its providing a jumping off point for Role Playing, and its allowing citizens who live on opposite sides of the world a chance to get to know one another. There's been some great brainstorming going on as well. What impresses me most is the fact we have many posters who aren't citizens, many from other galaxies even. If anyone would like to take a look, the site is www.naremiki.com .

-Respectfully yours,
Zola Gallorum, Mayor of Nar Emiki
