I'd have to disagree with this. Jedi, by nature, are set up to be loner characters. Hiding their abilities. By flaunthing their power enough to get them on the terminal, they are giving up any chance of being safe. They shouldn't be allowed to run home to their City to get away from the BH's. As for the 'protecting the citizens of my town' idea, well, harbouring a fugitive of the ruling government is against the law and should result in the Empire bombing your town into oblivion.

It's as simple as this...If Jedi don't want to be hunted downin their own town, then they shouldn't have gone back home after getting enough notice to be put on the terms in the first place.

I agree with Tex on this one. This sounds like the old BH tactic of hunting a single jedi with a group. Now, you want a group to kill a single BH hunting the jedi. They are meant to be hunted by the Empire, and, as we know, the Empire rule this era.So, a city trying to defend a jedi should suffer the consequences of the act.

remember the milita is only good inside the city limits.. .the militia could only protect basically any other militia member... also your argument is good for padawans being on the terms but until they stop the forced sf of Knights.. or removing them from the gcw all together they have no choice but being on the terms... now what would this stop? simple no longer would the bh/FRS lockout be abused in GCW on base attacks inside city limits.. also will cut down on the number of houses that are placed already outside a city I think as safehouses to grinding jedi... I am a BH but I do not think locking a soldier in gobal combat is a fair thing.. I also feel that the game should give back some player city perks to protect those living there..

In the Old west and litature one mans outlaw was another mans hero.. Robin hood was an outlaw but still the town protected him in their own way.. heck Wyatt Earp was an outlaw in some places yet one of the most famous lawmen in history... but I disgress here... Imperials have said let no Jedi live yet even rebel towns watch in silence as their heros are gunned down in their own streets.. this is why we have mayors to impliment city codes of conduct etc.. bring back the militia

First off I don't think fighting should be happening in player cities. Militia TEF should be reinstated. But the militia wouldn't be able to attack right away. They should be able to use a new version of City warn that only works when a target is in combat within city limits.

So by placing military installations (rebel or imperial) inside your city, under your rules, they'd always be protected? There'd be no possible way to take them down.

No, you're wrong. I've never battled a bounty hunter or a jedi, but I have participated in several raids on Eclipse where either we had to defend our bases or we were attacking bases. Some details of the raids sucked (opposing high level players camping the cloning center) but overall, it was fun. And it was right there at my doorstep.

And banning bounty hunters upon site is just freekin stupid. I dunno how many times I'm shuttled into a city just to shop and find myself city banned. If people start getting city banned based upon their profession or because they are killing your jedi, the your city will take a nose dive - especially on the forums.
