interesting.. I"m in the same boat kinda (as in donation but not getting screwed) I donate a lot to our city. I made almost 90% of the buildings and public structure.. I did donate them to the city.. if I was ever to ask to leave.. I would do so... without compensation as long the city remains intact that is my home.. I hate to see a city that I put all my effort just to be destroy.. that would be a sad thing.

I understand that the buildings you donate were hoping for compensation in return. At the time, that should be stated or at least recorded via email or something... words along doesn't hold up in real life court too much.. must have evidences and documentation (especially when dealing with real estates and such) I am sorry that you were screwed from your buildings.. but I don't think this can be solve without really destroy the city or massive amount of money... (which it seems they don't have either or not feeling entitle to)
