Thread: Who decorates their civic structures?
Howdy
I do all the decorating for the city and structures when time permits. All materials are donated by the citizens in which we store em in our City Storage house. Im almost done with the cantina. In that are guild is an Old West theme I decided to decorate "Bertha's Hotel and Saloon" in an old west look. Those bright red couch's and wood tables are perfect for this.....Still working on getting the "girls of the line" implemented...![]()
I'll post SS's when done.
BTW, Chipmunk, I still would like to see that SS of your pool table...I get how to make it but just would like to see it...I didnt find it on ur website...Thanks partner.
Great thread, and great examples of decorating here.
Our city hall mostly uses marble furniture, and the big female soldier statues (forget the proper name, but from the Gungan Head Statue line) for decoration.
Our Cantina is very nicely decoratedfeaturing a KraytSkull as well as little fish on the walls from various fishing tourneys our PA has held. The med center is decorated appropriately with hospital beds and chairs and desks and terminals.
Our cloning facility could use some work, and I really some of the suggestions like the welcome to last hope droid and the "mad scientist" suggestion above, so I'll be thinking about something to add some flavor there.
Haven't had a look at any screen shots yet, but I'll check them out too.

Meh there isn't much discussion to be had recently so why not see if a few people finished up their designs or got new buildings up and perty.

Sure, I'll send you my wp in a few min. And to host something just use geocities or angelfire, takes a few minutes really. Not going to force you guys or anything, but getting an image online isn't that hard

Gotta get a bigger one though, keep running out of room!
Only thing I have to say is, BIGGER PICS!
Love them, but can't make out detail on alot of the great items!

Oooh, I can't wait to see the pool table
For picture hosting - I would recommend Imagedump.com. They don't have the bandwidth constraints that places like geocities do (Chipmunk's picture is already maxed out and I can't see it until it opens up again in an hour or whatever).
Looks like the back ofof the orange couches,
but the ends are shorter.
And can't get a good look at the balls.
Watched the case sensative, but there looks like spacing in the code.
I tried every possible combination of letters and spaces I could think of, but none of them work.
Hope the code changes so I can try again.
The sides are made out of clothing repair tools, the balls are mineral surveying devices, and 2 couplers. I'd use larger images but then I wouldn't really be able to fit as many as I do onto the page. At least not nicely. I mean I take at least half a dozen shots even if I only focus on the main room so fitting all of them at like 512 would be a scrolling pain.
I wonder when they plan on fixing the clone centers, because that sucks quite royally.
We decorate all our buildings, but that cloning center bug really threw me for a loop! Ruined my plans, but I considered putting the foutain back where it was, was quite unusual looking tbh.
Maybe I should get a few pics together and showcase our stuff. I even thought about having a best of showcase for our site as well.
for those having difficulty finding a place to post your images or files, I host them for 7 days before deleting them, so feel free to use my Uploader:
