Interesting about it taking a week to take effect..

And also interesting on the assumption that a 15% bonus to the final experimentation would be the same as a +15 experimentation tape.

I'm 99% sure that that is NOT the case.. and that a 15% experimentation bonus is in fact a 15% better chance of great or amazing success... but I anxiously await your results..

Okay, we just activated the Specialization.........and it doesn't work yet.

I'm making the exact same power-ups with the exact same results and the exact same resources. Our WS is irritated too. No where was it said that a city would have to wait a full 7 days and 8 hours (stupid shifting update) to gain the benefit of the bonus.

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?

We are going for stronghold. As a mayor, I do have the skill available but I'm not wasting it yet until citywarn is put back into the game or something is added that makes the militia worthwhile again.

Don't know what we'll get as a substitute...

How much do the various specializations cost?

We activated research specialization yesterday, quite a few crafters report an observed increase in amazing sucesses. It doesn't give you more points, just makes the ones you have go farther. Also, if you were expermenting something to the max before with skill points left over, this won't help much. But if you're a weaponsmith or armorsmith, now you have a chance to max out one stat and have a few bonus points left over to fill up part of the other one. So you can max out damage for your resources on a gun, then throw some extra points into condition.

perhaps i'm merely being hopeful here, but does one need to be a citizen to enjoy the bonuses of a research center?

or can i just walk into a research center and pull out my crafting droid, or maybe use a friend's crafting station to gain the 15% bonus?

and one other thing, how about being put on the admin list of a friend's house?
