Thread: Daily Update again
We're having the same problem. We had one week of daily updates until right after Christmas. Then they stopped for about a week, now they're back. We're already into our 3 or 4th consecutive update again .
I already contacted a CSR about it, so he can notify the Devs.
Is this only happening on Gorath (we're on Gorath too) or other servers as well?
I have many reports of CSRs filling treasuries with millions of creds in order to cover this problem for what appears to be an undetermined amount of time. Make sure to get your CSR reports in with name of city, planet, and amount lost due to repeat updates. I have also heard reports of CSRs who have not reacted in the same way, and I don't know if it is their fault for not responding in the right way or if cases where they don't fill treasuries are different in some way, no log of lost treasury creds, no proof of the double update, whatever. So, make sure to be very clear in your CSR reports to give yourselves the best chance to get your lost treasury creds back.
New Weekend on lok is having same problem too 200-300k a day in town update

Yes ... we got several million credits from a CSR during the last big daily update shift just before christmas. So don't let CSRs tell you they won't do things like that.
Strange though are the totaly different answeres from CSRs ... I made 2 tickets with my 2 accounts ... my mayor got the message that he should try to save maintenance and see that he fills the treasury enough himself ... my other account (just a citizen) got a different message telling him that credits are being filled into treasuries (sounded pretty random 
)
On my ticket about this new shift of daily updates I got a quite fast resoponse .. CSR says his logs show our city isn't updating daily any more ... but I wonder why it still says "error" as it did before the last 5 updates .. lets wait and find out 
Same here - just had an election Sunday morning - it was still in error mode all day yesterday - and election again this morning - and still in error mode again....
Thankfully our maintenance is down to 150k a week (err day? 
) because I redeeded all the gardens - but still it sucks....
This bug has cost me 3 million in the past 2 days alone
and to make it even worse im not getting poli xp for these duplicate updates either

What planet is your city on? Our city on Gorath is on Talus and we been getting hit with this city update issue a lot too. I am curious as to if it is consistent across Gorath or more frequent on certain planets.
