Soon to be new mayor here

I am trying to get some decorating ideas for my City Hall and was wondering what other people have come up with.

If possible,please post some nice screenshots here to share with others. If screenshots aren't an option, I have characters on Ahazi, Shadowfire and Starsider that have money on them so I could travel to your city to check it out for myself.

I've had a ton of people tell me that my city hall is one of the best decorated ones they've ever seen.

so if you'd like to take a look, make a character on Lowca, and look for either Oreet or Teero. Those are my 2 accounts, and i am typically online from 5pm Eastern Time til 11 or 12.

if you can't make it during those times, my city is called New Kabala on Lok. it's not on the map yet, but bring up the vendor list, and about 2.5km south west of Nym's there will be a vendor named Teero's Fine Fashions, just head in that direction, since that vendor is inside the town.

My main room has a fountain on the front wall, chairs in the main area, as well as on the stage, lots of paintings and plants, a few Tourism Terminals, ect. In the left hand room (the one with the book shelves) i have that room decorated like a Library, complete with droids working there. The right hand room is our public crafting area with +40 or better private crafting stations. i really spent a LONG time decorating the crafting room. it looks like a workshop with stuff just randomly placed on tables and counters. and believe me, it's a pain to decorate randomness.

My city hall is my personal Museum

If i were to sell everything in there would be about 100 mil on my server i think. all Paintings, Loot Kits items, Rareities, etc. Might not be best decorated but does make for a awesome Muesum with the Tall Walls.

I've been complimented many times on my Cityhall in Warlord City on Dantooine on the Ahazi server.

I created a scale model of the universe in the main room. I used "Hero of Tatooine Spheres" for major stars, Genosian small balls for planets, noob melons for moons, and droid modules for space stations.

On the stage area I placed a "round table" meeting area which is watched over by my Gnarled Rancor. In the side rooms is my "Press Room" where I make formal declarations and announcements.The final side room is my office where Ikeep the city "Treasury". The office also has a large fishtank, shandleer (sp?), anda rebel vs. Imperial GCW theme.

Near the CityHall is the Warlord Museum which contains some of the rarest items on the server. (And a high level security room)

Here is my city hall. These where taken before /move forward got better accuracy and /move up wasn't implemented yet so it has gotten cleaned up since then. The red couches and paintings where removed since they just didn't fit it too well, and I also added the endor landscape painting up on the dias with some greenery below it (the armoires act as a planter now) to give the area a bit more flair. The library is pretty much untouched same goes for my office excepting I added the star eclipse painting and the anniversary one in the alcoves.

To free up some space in/for your map room you may want to swap out those ottomans and novice chests for 2 long or 4 master cafe tables.(with a novice or master chest as a stand) It'd give you a couple more item slots to play with and add city blocks.

Very nice! I am so glad that other people decorate it because when I run around Farstar I find barely any city halls decorated apart from the roleplay towns (And Sunrise Beach which is beautiful)

Corbantis server, City of schizm. City hall has its own rare creature guardians, an aquarium combined with fire (made from all seperate parts and fish) All rare paitings including all 9 Anniverary paitings, take a look. The theme for the entire city is fire and water and we ahve our own fire opits in the city as well, all hidden under ground n craters . Its definetly worth looking at. Look at the guild hall as well, thats hooked up as well, especially the Kraynt dragon skull over the fore with crytals as eyes.

I'll be decorating the Haven Island city hall over Christmas and will post screen shots then it's finished. I might nick a few ideas from some of the above. I hope you don't mind
