Guys, the street lights idea.. AWESOME!

By and large it is the best thing to add to a city. The styles are great, and the lighting effective (although a bit more distance to see them would be cool too)

Kudos to you, good thinking and bonus beers for originality!

oh yes and the 1500 credits to run each individual one of them taken from city maintenance that makes complete sense????

I replied to your smacktard attitude in the other thread.

You really need to grow up. Money needs to have a sink in this game. If you cannot balance your city budget effectively, it is entirely clear to me that you should not be a mayor.

but again, thats just my opinion. As your post was yours.

Maybe you can be one of those afk macro grinders in the cantina?

Sorry I agree with olepi from Bria on this one, as do almost all other politicians, its not about money sinks, cause everyone knows the game needs them, and its not about balancing a budget because everyone knows it can be done, its all about the large amount of money paid weekly for certain things that give relatively nothing back to the community, "and that is the fact, Jack".

While I agree with you that sinks are needed, I disagree with the second statement.

Bugs with taxes have prevented us from balancing the city budget. This has been on-going for weeks, and we've lost over a million credits because of tax bugs (namely, the Income Tax and Sales Tax not being deposited into the City Treasury). So slight footnote to your statement, heh.

Um, these have been in since player cities were launched. Why are you excited about them now? Were you under the impression they were just added?

Hmm.. I dont know about the rest of the tax issue.. To date, I've only had to have a 12% property tax.

Thanks for the heads up though, when and if the others are added, I'll keep an eye on them

Smacktard?listen moron first off you ahve no clue a thing about my city but i for one see the problem of Money Sinks as a vaild issue especially witht he problem of taxes not being collected properly and other such issues. I have NO problem balancing a budget it's a valid issue that i have raised and if you can't handle that then that's your problem just because i see them asa waste of money and voice my opinion WHICH i am 100% entitled to, i see the simple facet of Armor as a Bigger money sink. Armor plus decay = 300k habit twice a week if you are into combat at all. I go through armor and weapons like candy. getting armor repaired is almsot never worth the investemnt when it could get ruined. No one is forcing you to listen to me but i can see it's beyond your intelligence level to act like an adult for 5 seconds and not toss some rocks at someone, If i was ina mood i'd be tossing rocks at you as well but you are a waste of good bandwidth.

Money does not need to have a sink in this game it has several. The problem is the developers got caught with their pants down when there was duping, then the holocron craze, krayt duping, you name it the economy got toasted. Ultimately they needed an economist to begin with to figure things out. But don;pt try and presume you think you know crap because i state that i find the HIGHLY priced items they charge in this game for maintainig a city to be my claim that i am broke or my city is. On the contrary i find it useless to waste money on such things that are completely and utterly usless save for a few usefull items or items that are somewhat appealing the dantoine meditation gardens are cool. Statues in my city in my honor etc... yes we have those too.

But telling me i ned to grow up while you lob names like Smacktard..... that's the pot calling the kettle black.

Who needs to grow up?

I'm a paying consumer, i have no way other then this to communicate with people who are spending my money to work hard to bring me - "garages with publish 7"

WELL WHOOPDI DOO!!!

i'm happy about having another waste of space and usless money sinks in my city. Why pay extra for a garage when you can go to a NPC city and ge them repaired at no extra cost? Better yet when you can just use a well known bug to fix it for FREE!

yeah garages were certainly Number one on our list of things we needed and requested. But in 6 weeks i am sure you will post about the marvel and glory of those as well!!! HEY GUESS WHAT TIP THE DEV'S THEY GAVE US GARAGES!!!

Who's the smacktard?

is it the fact that its a sink that bugs you? or that the sink will most likely (or ussually) come from the mayors pocket?

I dont mind picking up the tab... it gives me a reason, and a very real need to leave the city and partake in other things out there from time to time...

If that was the case why was BRIA the choice to copy and move to test center before the other servers??

simple because Bria is chocked full of all the min maxers out there and every other power gaming war monger who loves a good PVP exploiting session. not that i am for that but keep talking smack about Bria and Bria will soon railroad your forum as well as we did eclipses.

It's simply the fact that it is a USELESS feature what part of that don't you understand?

WHY would anyone pay the inflated cost of a overglorified decoration (what it would be reduced to only) paying for reapiring vehicles alone is costly as they reduce in condition very very fast....

Why pay more when they can go to an AI city and in the process pay a set amount? or as it currenlty stands, they can fix their vehicles with a well known bug for FREE?

which do you think IF you can think logically will they do?

The money sink is not what bothers me the fact that it's a complete JOKE that this si what we got to look forward to more useless content at the expense of players and in game at the expense of their toons and the city they live in. It's like we got a Gift for christmas but this gift is more high maintenance then a ferrari and drives like a broken Chevy Nova.

Or a flaming case of Herpes take your pick it's the gift that keeps giving..........
