So I just mastered politician finnal and my respec period is over with but I didn't get the badge for it.. Politician wasn't even eligable for respec so I'm not sure how the devs managed to mess this up. Any one had the same problem (I know there probably haven't been many new masteres since the cu)

Do you still have any respecs left (either CURB or token)? Some people were having looping respecs, meaning the respec period wouldn't end even though it should have. If you still have the ability to respec (even the token one)that is what is causing the problem.

All profession badges were turned off for respec. There wasn't really a way to exclude certain ones as they all use the same system. If there's no respec issue involved, though, I'll need to know so I can check on what the problem is.

I still have my token respec left (dang thign pops up at the oddest times makign it very hard ot bank) but I want to keep it till at least publish 19 with some jedi changes ect. This token respec is becoming less and less of a "keepable" item I guess I won't get a badge untill I use it or bug a CSR

Iwouldn't hasten my use of the token respec just for this badge. Is getting the badge now really that important to you?

It won't do any good to bug a CSR about a badge if you still have your token respec. They can't add it until the respec is gone.

You will get a Master badge for any profession you are a master of at the time you use that token respec. So if you want to hold off on using your respec, you won't lose out on the Master Politician badge as long as you don't drop it between now and the time you use your respec.

as Khristen already mentioned above, the problem is your token respec. no master badge until you use that up.

No badge either. And it's not even a profession you can respec

I submitted Bug report #3791509 the other day. In it I reported how I had trained the Master skill box of Smuggler, but had not been given the Proffession Mastery Badge.

I am NOT still eligable for my CU Respec's. I DO still have my Token Respec. The information provided before the Token Respec was initiated states that Master Badges will still be earned during the Time tou have the Token Respec.

Since I issued the /bug report, I surrendered Master SMuggler and RETRAINED in it, from a NPC Trainer. I thought maybe it would fix it. Now I am out the million XP and 10,000 credits. I don't care about that, but I am annoyed that I STILL do not have the Master Smuggler Badge.

sounds like pilots are also affected, and folks aren't happy. I'm not sure what they'll do about it though, so we'll just have to wait and see
