Hey all,

Does anyone know what would happen to a mayor that revoked his citizenship, and if that could be a form of resignation?

The only way for a Mayor to resign is to destroy the city hall. When they place the city hall it is considered their residence and can not declare residence elsewhere. They are Mayor until such time as they have been voted out of office, no exceptions, except destroy the city hall of course. I do not know first hand but I do believe destroying the city hall takes all city structures to the abyss with it. I would advise caution before taking such a drastic measure.

Suggest you find a other person to run for mayor office, and make your citizen vote for him. Destroying the cityhall is very drastic if you ask me.

Well folks... Heck has indeed frozen over.

I am leaving the game due to personal issues... And by default I must therefore resign as Correspondent.

I will leave the website that contains the FAQ up and running for the next couple months, but I will no longer be updating it.

Hopefully my successor will provide asimiliar service, or perhaps post the contents into a forum thread.

I'll miss you guys... It was indeed a trip these past 8 months.

I wish you all good times ahead, and I hope that my successor can lead you into better times.

Good Hunting everyone.

NRaas! We'll miss you. You have been the life of this board, contributing so much time and effort into working to improve the profession. You seta precident for correspondents, beingone of thefirst to organize a profession's needs into a State of the Profession list. You spent hours wafting through posts to make sure that you heard every voice, and that everything would go on to the devs. It's too bad that so little came out of it. Youare, and always will be, the best correspondent out there. The ranger board and profession won't be the same without you.

/salute NRaas;

Good hunting, and may the force be with you.

Huh?!? Wha? Dewd are you on meds? Haha! You know, April Fool's is a month off. But anyway, I can't say I blame you. I'm very close to cancelling too. My sub runs out in a few days and I'm contemplating not renewing it.

I will say that you're the best Correspondent I've seen, and a heck of a Ranger.

As for nominations, I'll put mine in for JB. If anyone should take your throne, he's the next best no BS candidate.

Firstly, I want to say that real life always comes first.

you have set the tone in these boards and created a good place to share ideas and have fun.
We are all taking a huge hit to lose you, but at the same time, I truly wish you amazing success and happiness in what you choose to do next.

I really cant believe I am saying goodbye...

There will, from this point on be a giant NRaas shaped hole in the Ranger Boards.

I really cant believe I am saying goodbye...

gonna miss you bud..

Grrrrrrr.....this better be a CRUEL joke! If not, best of luck to you...and us. I pity the poor fool who takes you place and has to earn our respect.

Thank you for all of the hard work you put in to try to make Ranger a better palce to live. Thank you for being patient with those of us who had moments of weakness in which we responded to flames, and worse started our own flames(I had a few bad days in there). Thank you for making this the only forum worth reading. In short....Thank you NRass (sorry had to get that in there).

Godspeed NRaas. /salute, /wipeawaytear.

NRaas, you are leaving some big shoes to fill. You have done a wonderful job, and hopefully the next correspondent will be able to come close to the amount of dedication you have shown.

I'm sure you will be missed, by myself, and all the other Rangers as well.

You fought hard for us, and that is all that can be asked of anybody.

Happy Hunting, both in RL, and if you choose to return to game.

This has completely ruined my day.

My partner in crime is resigning.

I hope the next Ranger Correspondent and I can get along well- N'Raas was great. He is by far the best correspondent I've ever seen. Above and beyond was his standard.

I guess I'll be babysitting a bit for a while - at least until a new guy is appointed.
