Bounty Hunter terminals are useless without them. Cities would get increased traffic if they could placy Spy-Ops.

Hey, this post is great, I was getting ready to make a post of this very same issue.

I have citizens / guildmates that want to do Bounty Hunter , and found out the Bounty Hunter terminals is pretty useless without a Spynet Operative.

I did setup a Bounty Hunter terminal, and had since took it down after finding out it being useless without a Spynet npc/

I do TOTALLY agree that the DEVS need to allow a mayor to place a Spynet Operative NPC in the city, just in the same manner as placing a Trainer.

PS - my alt char: Ocultar , mayor of New Liberty, Rori

I'm not sure how these work (never had a BH char ), but I agree that mayors should be able to place certain NPCs in the city besides trainers.

I agree this is a great idea.

Bounty Hunters use the spy net operatives as they level up their Investigation Line (an intensely time consuming experience climb). As they level up, they require different kinds of operatives. So, just being able to place one means you really would need to place all of them.

Every Bounty Hunter follows the same investigative 'route'. Once they discover where their operatives are, they rinse/repeat these until they can level up to the next box, when their 'route' changes. These routes take them to many different planets.

In our city, our Bounty Hunters purchase their droids (which are used to find their marks in their investigative line). This is a great money maker for artisens. They also will use the Bounty Hunter Mission terminals, but they still must visit an operative off planet to proceed with their missions.

Having operatives in their own city would encourage them to return to it more and give them an additional recourse in leveling up this line.

I dont know much about the BH profession either... but I have had a several citizens ask about being able to place them. I would agree with this completely as long as there was no way to exploit such a thing or have it limit game play in any way...

Yes I totally agree! Since we can place the BH terminal we should be able to have Spynet operatives aswell. No use for the terminal otherwise

Opt aka ocultar and I built the city New Liberty. I have a Bounty Hunter and instead of having to travel to another city at great expense just to get a mission, I asked Ocutlar to add a Bounty Hunter terminal to our city. (this also helps to keep players in the player cities, which are often vacant). Unfortunately, once placed I went "DUH, I still have to go to a large city". All because of no spynet operative.

Gloria, Lowca: Wanderhome & Test Center
9 accounts, 18 characters, ok this is a tad nutso
Lowca, LIBERTYLAND PARK on Rori, our fun city geared to role playing fun
take the shuttle, racetrack, Wildlife museum, Romance Inn, pub, cafe,
Droid Factory, Whacky Hospital...much more
Come visit, bring friends and roleplay. Pull up your overhead map, each vendor marks a site for adventure and fun.

SacredNemesis , There is one problem with your idea of using droids , and that is that you cannot use droids at first when starting to do investigations, so you have to totally use the SpyNet npc's , and since there is none in player cities yet, would have to go way out of the way to a regular city to use them, which the BH terminals would be located somewhere nearby, which in the current situation, BH terminals in player cities, is mostly useless, and a waste of time and expense to use them.

Currently, Do not see any purpose of having them up after finding out these problems from my guildmates / citizens that were trying to use them at first, so, ended up removing them.

I completely agree. I've had numerous citizens/guildmates asking about placing a spynet operative. It's an ability that definitely needs to be added to a Mayor's skill list, perhaps just as an addition to the recruit skill trainer list.

unfortunately, mayors have been asking for them and bio-engineer trainers since player cities were released.

look how long it took to get the bio-enginner trainer.

The bio-engineer trainer has been added now. Maybe the spynet operatives will follow. I hope so, it's probably not very hard to do for the devs to give us this ability.
