Thread: The official How many residents did you lose thread

Howdy all
I thought it would be interesting to see who/how many residents we have all lost due to the inactivity "feature" that is now taking place.
My city updated and I lost 11 residents. 6 I knew about ahead of time in that they had left the game. The other 5 was interesting. 2 were pretty active players for the most part.The other 3 I dont even remember. AllI can think of is that those whom I knew had quit the game had alt characters.
All in all it didnt really do anything to us. I lost 11 but last nite I picked up 3 new residents with anothernew personcoming back to the game in a coupleof weeks. The city of Villa Sura is now at 68 residents.
So, how did y'all fair???

We lost 13 - down to 106 from 119. As far as I can see, they were all valid purges that had left the game some time ago.
....now if only there was a way to get rid if the buildings.

we lost 14... I help set them up.. their houses have maint for another 100+ days

I lost 2 citizens. Not much for most people but that was a good 10% of my population, sad isnt it?

23 total "Lost Citizen" Mails
10 were genuine inactives who left house-turds in our city
5 were dual-citizen-actives who were re-patriated
8 were dual-citizens who are now living elsewhere, and had no house in the city.

Lost 7, all accounted for as inactive.
surprisingly enough we actually upgraded to metropolis on the same upate we thought might do damage

Howdy Merch.....I have to agree with ya on the lack of threads...This is why I thought we might as well have an official one here. Plus this is good feedback for all of us to see if this is actually working. The feedback from those about losing a citizen even though they just saw them is good stuff to know. Im checking in with those that came up with the in-active now.

Lost 5, down to 92. One was logged on during the update and now I can't get him to redeclare. Which means that I lost one citizen due to the bug, which is about 7000 credits a week in taxes.

Lost 11, went from 94 to 83. Have added a few citizens to get us back over 85. I have a feeling 85 is going to be tough to maintain. Hoping to maybe draw in a failing city and bump up over 100 so we don't have to worry.

Lost 12, down to 82. But last week we added at least 5 citizens... and have been adding some here and there... Shouldn't be a problem to get 3 in one week.
I agree with someone, that if a city has to deal with used zoning lots - we really should get benefit for citizens - active or no.. even tho I understand the reasoning behind it.

Last week: 2 citizens, but i wasaware they left, i'm actually waiting for their houses to decay
For what happens tomorrow i dunno, but i smell a recruitment campaign coming up, wouldn't like to drop below 60 citizens.

4,1 I was pretty sure would be lost but the other 3 I didn't really figure and 1 of them is dead wrong. One of the people I lost in the city was actually playing when I logged on. After reading through my mail he had left the game but...well what the hell does this mean? He hasn't been in his house for 6 weeks so he got removed from the citizen list? Is it a bug and if so that is one of the worst things to have a bug in. I'm going to write a CSR ticket after I get in touch with him and have him go in and out of his house as a test to see if it works out but still. This happen to anyone else? Someone that you know was playing really recently but is off your list for some reason?

lost 7, I was expecting to lose more, but I guess some logged in a few times after publish 6 went live. We were at 63, now at 56.
