Hello,

I'm currently mayor of a city on Starsider, and one thing occured to me. Eventually I'm going to use up all my lots, and I'll no longer be able to place small and medium homes for people in our city. This is a problem because it's pretty difficult to tell people exactly how to place somthing. I think mayors should recieve a special ability to place homes they like, even with 0 lots, as long as they transfer the home withen 24 hours to the citizen.

Yes yes yes yes yes!!!!

Even packed homes.So many worry they will place in the wrong location and often they do, so we spend some time trying to make sure it is just right. It ruins game play to have to go through this let along rome play.

/transferstructure after you have placed it where you want?

Only if you have the lots available to place it in the first place. I know that I wouldn't be able to place a large house or guild hall right now - I don't have the lots available to do it.

Also, if the person has a packed house, there's nothing you can do to help. You have to just grant them zoning rights, and hope they put the house in the right spot.

GREAT idea. I spent 20 minutes trying to explain a clany how to place his house yesterdays. I might just be the clumsiest explainer in the galaxy... LOL!

I'd rather have a city planning tool that lets me experiment laying out an entire city without using any lots (see my full idea on the Politican wish list http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Politician&message.id=49759) but until then... yes yes YES to having temp extra lots to place residents houses!

/transferstucture (to mayor), pack house, redrop it, /transferstructure (back to original owner) = Issue resolved
