Anyway, was saying i am guessing the patch is soon sense they snuck this in.

Maybe maybe not, I think its because they now have the corespondant designated (Yay Plinka!)

Naw, patch isn't soon. But we have so much discussion about Politicians on the Test Center board that someone upstairs finally became convinced we needed our own forum!

Any sense at all on a schedule? I doubt you can give a firm date, even if you know it, but a ballpark would help folks know what they're doing Thanksgiving Day weekend

Wow thanksgiving is 3 weeks away.. right? I'm sure it will probably go live by then. Heh.

They said early november, I don't expect them to stick to that, but who knows.

Based on the chat, they were hinting at the first week in November, but its usually pretty safe to double any time esitmate given by a developer

Any updates on the time frame would be most welcome though. Its hard to rally the citizens only to have them sit around for a couple weeks - they tend to loose interest. I need to know when to start whipping all those voters into a city planning frenzy!

My opinion is that they want to rush it in for next week. I think it is more likely to happen 11/11 or 11/12. The Devs want to have plenty of time to troubleshoot all the problems before Thanksgiving. I doubt they want to be stuck at work over the holidays.

Sometime around the 2nd week in november is my guess. I would prefer them to wait an extra week or whatever (besides launching right at the beginning of november) and not have it be so buggy. That way those of us starting cities can get things laid out quicker with out the quirks. (of course there will be some but not quite as many if they do bug work for an extra week or so).

Soon i think but not as soon as we all would like it! hehe. 2nd week in november is an educated guess i think.

My guess is next week... I think they're rushing to get it done

This last week test server has appeared to be ignored by devs.. it hasn't got a lot of updates or anything. I think that is because they have a bunch of developers working on it. The first week i think they had a few test center devs kinda fixing things.. but i think they're starting to try and polish it up now. This means that they're working on fixing and polishing rather than updating. They got a good report of all the bugs the first week it was out and now they're just fixing it all. And we know they want to get this pushed out and from the looks of the good patch today.. they've still got a few things to fix but not many before I think it'll be published.

Patches are normally pushed out not being totally finished.. then they spend a week or so fixing and patching any bugs on live.
