Let me rephrase. Is there anyway to ban groups so they cannot use the clone center.

It would be very nice to be able to ban an entire guild. It would sure make life easier.

Okay this isn't a definitive answer, BUT in thethread entitled "Proposal to the devs for city involvement in the GCW " (stickied at top of this forum)it says:

Bajeezus said (in a list of requested abilities for politicians/cities):

Here are your ideas and concepts, all in white, followed by Jest3r's responses, in yellow and orange.

1. Ability to restrict service by faction, particularly shuttleport and clone center.
Agreed

I think this might indicate that this ability is currently unavailable. That's all I've got so far on this one... sorry.

I have successfully banned guilds from both the mall and the cantina. Cityban keeps players out of City Hall, and use of terminals, trainers and clone and med centers. Malls, cantinas and such are not considered city property. But, the guild ban works absolutely fine. Especially for the annoying, banned players who say: you can't stop me from going in the mall.

Well, remember why they made that impossible?

Yes, I know...

Absolute Dictatorships + SWG = BAD (Mayors were able to ban everyone from city hall, and thereby prevent people from voting against them.)

I'm just pointing it out, for the inormation of all present.

/cityban does keep non-citizens out of city hall, it works in my city. /cityban does not work on any citizens, so that would not stop anyone from voting you out.

ok.. how do I ban a guild from using our cantinas and shops? (what is the command exactly) assuming a guild call ABC123

Just go to structure management terminal in Cantina, and add entry on ban list but instead of a player name put Guild:Abbreviation. For example, say the guild is ABC put Guild:ABC.
