Give Politicians a reason for bodyguards. lol that would be great content. Having Rebel or Imperial assassins come looking for you. LOL freakin awesome!


Not like the BH/Jedi system oh no, that would ruin another profession. Random attacking npcs of the opposing faction try to assassinate you and your trusty bodyguards have to keep you safe while you are in public. Unless you have a combat profession on the side so you can protect yourself.

I would not mind if I was a hunted person as mayor of a city. It would make things very interesting although I am sure that I would be hiding in my house all day since I have no fighting skills. or have police escort wherever I go.

Militia would be good for something finally.

Interesting idea. So if you are a Civilian Mayor you are safe? Or would the Rebels come after you anyway?

Well they would have to get some kind of visibility or something where mayor's cannot be hunted all day. Which would be impossible.

I'm totally down with this idea. I'm not even a mayor, but i think this idea has so much potential. Even is this thread was intended as a joke, I think it's a good idea.


Like mayors of really large faction cities or something of that sort, would have reason to be hunted. this idea rocks!

Not all players have a desire to be in combat. Politician is a social profession, not a combat one. There are plenty of combat options out there for those that want to pursue them.

i think that idea is awesome, though being a mayor is a social profession, i think it will bring some excitement into the political profession, because who really wants to just sit in a city hal all day, not me!

BEFORE the hunters... we get the bodyguards.


And we have them for three years to be sure all the bugs are worked out.


THEN we talk about bounties on mayors, not before.

Can they test this out in the NPC cities. Like Bestine maybe? Be better for the bounty hunter thread. It would be really cool to hunt Bounties that have guards you have to get through. My favorites bounties are the ones in cities.


This will NEVER happen by the way. It is too unfair to the mayors that dont want anything to do with combat. Although the games storyline has turmoil it is not supposed to be at that degree where EVERY city and every mayor is hunted. They would have to place restrictions. It would be nice if they could make it so if you wanted to be hunted you could turn on the option. It would make things interesting. I think if they had that option you would find a lot of people turning that option on. Maybe not a majority in the politician but maybe 25%. Enough to make things interesting and have a ingame player created roleplay. IT would be nice to have more roleplay driven items. Ones in which it affects people more. The only player on player roleplay is Special Forces GCW (only for the uber elite because of the rampid jedi's around) and the Jedi/ Bounty Hunter battle. Only one and one and because most of the jedi hide on certain furball planets it is hours of pointless hunting.

That would require a city to be faction aligned. Great idea for content though.
