I own the PA hall, and i want to leave the PA, if I remove myself will the PA hall still be tied to the PA? I want the PA to still be able to use it, but there is no one to take ownership of it.

Yes, if you leave the guild they should still be able to use the hall as normal as it will remain tied to that guild until you re-deed it. I would however try to find someone in the PA to either get it transfered to them or to place a new one since you will no longer be in the guild and shouldn't be responsible for it. (It shouldn't be that hard now that it only requires 5 lots to hold instead of 7 or 9 like before).

Well it isnt that no one is willing to take it, it's the fact that I can't seem to find any guildies. I took a 3 month break and just came back, but havent seen a single member in 3 days. If there is a chance someone is still playing and wants to keep the oldest pa on our server intact then I don't want to ruin it, but I am ready to move on to another pa. Atleast I know I can just remove myself and if someone wants to take it over they can let me know. If I dont hear from anyone within a reasonable amount of time i'll just pull it and sink the treasury into ourcity hall. It's almost painful to see the guild in such a state though. Thanx for the info!

Are you the leader? Or do you at least have the ability to send guild wide emails? If you can, I'd suggest sending out a guild wide email asking them if someone wants to take it over for you since you're going to leave. That's the best method, if you don't have the ability just try sending out some emails to various people and try the same thing.
Honestly though, if you don't hear anything or see anyone in the next few days (Which would be nearly a week) then I would probably just go ahead and disband and move on. Then like you said if someone does send you a tell you can always transfer the hall to them then. If you do pull up the hall and leave, they can still always place a new one later on to get things going again.

Just for information, what would happenif they didn't want to pull up the hall, perhaps it had a lot of items in it or they had decorated it as house?

The old guild would be able to use the guild terminal and would always be listed on the entry list. That's the only thing that would happen.

Is there anyway to remove them? I have a hall as a residence, and I have it full so I'm not inclined to take it down and put it back up. But I have the hall set to private, and we are having a guild meeting, the new guild, and in walks a few of the old guild memebers. I don't mindthem coming in, I keep my hall public, unless we are having meetings, but with the old guild on the entry they like to stop by and visit.

Nope, currently the only way to remove the old guild affiliation is to redeed the hall and replace. You can't take the guild off the entry list since it's tied to that guild. Hopefully there will be a way to "swap" the guild affiliation in the future.

However, you could just boot the old members from the guild, rename it and voila...new guild. Then just add the new members to the guild. This should accomplish the same thing, just without re-deeding the hall.

That would have worked, however I don't think they would make me leader to kick them all out, nor the new guild disbanding.
If I had a macro to add them to the ban list, would that override the entry list? the individual names not the guild tag.

I'm not sure if it'd work or not, give it a shot though and find out.
