Our guildname is currently Valiance and our initials are VALOR.

We're trying to change our guildname to Liberty for the Outer Rim, same initials, but it keeps saying "That guild name isnot allowed." Why? Is it because we have the same initials as before, or does the game have a problem with Liberty for the Outer Rim?

It's the "Outer Rim" part. For some reason, you can't use any Star Wars titles. My guild can't use "Shadows of Ryloth" or anything remotely related to Twi'leks because they're Star Wars names...

You also can't change the name without changing the tag. You have to change both for the system to allow it currently. Hopefully that'll change, because it sucks having to change both when you want to keep the same tag.

Our guild has to technically be named "Cloaked Wook Council" because wookiee isnt allowed

Hmmm, not with our guild. We were the Imp Gummi Squad -GUMMI and some of us went Reb, so I changed it to the Gummi Squad and just typed in GUMMI again and a week later it had dropped 'Imp' and we were still GUMMI

There's a guild on StarSider, SoA, or Shards of Alderaan. Or it used to be that, now it's just Shards, and you have to guess the rest of the name because well, the restrictions are kind of dumb.

After our recent bug and guild explosion, we've called ourselves Mandalorian Elite. Theres been no problems with the Star Warsy name though.

We had Outer Rim Marauders and Outer Rim Cartel and a few ohter things with Outer Rim on Starsider already, so Outer Rim should be fine

yeah Alderaan is a no no so SoA on Starsider has to use Shards as the PA name, kind of lame
