Thread: Lots and Leadership of Guild

Is this right regarding about PA halls and leadership?
Right now, I'm currently tyhe guild leader of our guild (but I'm not the actual leader, we have a couple of councils in our guild that work together as one leader, and I read that a leader can transfer leadership to another person in the guild by giving them leadership, but they also need to have free lots.
Right now, I'm the guild leader of the guild, but a current council member now owns the PA hall and using it as a musuem.
Now, overall not really a big deal since he's a council, transfering the leadership over to him wouldn't be much of an issue.
However, I'm sure that this can cause some problems with other guilds that don't have a setup like this...
How is it going to work regarding with how I explain the setup?

I think the person who is the actual leader (by the game) i.e. the one the terms says is the leader will have to have the Guild Hall on his lots for the guild terminal to work. So if your the leader then you will have to have the hall on your lots otherwise the guild terminal will be locked. Thats the way i have understood things anyway.

Stena is correct. Whoever the actual leader of the guild is, by the in game method, will be the one who must own the PA Hall for it to have a functional terminal.

Just wanted to add, that as it is now on TC, you CAN'T transfer leadership of the guild, if you don't own a PA hall either.

I can confirm. When I tried to transfer guild leadership (i dont own either of our halls), I got an error like "no one with that name is in the area". When I submitted a ticket, they said the same thing. I must own the hall, the second person must have open lots. Once transferred, we can switch the our lots around again.
This is some what ofa hassel, so we are moving leadership around just yet.

and yes, we both were standing at the terminal.

Hmm i was transfered leadership of my PA a few days ago. I don't currently own the PA hall or have the lots spair, does being on admin of the pa hall have anything to do with it? Because owning neither the PA hall (although i am on admin)or having any lots spair I am still able to use all functions of the guild terminal.

You can still use the PA hall's terminal regardless of owning it or being on admin, where the bug was though is when they were transfering leadership to you it still checked to make sure you had 5 free lots when it should. But if you didn't have any free lots when it was transfered to you, maybe they fixed that leadership bug.

Hmm it's possible, I am on admin yes but if other players are still reporting it happening then maybe my experiences were just a freak occurance. /shrug
