Perhaps this already exists and my vacation from the Galaxy has put me behind.....

but

Could the "Powers to be.....GODS" put a small checkbox in the Community/FRIENDS section of our control panels that would AUTOMATICALLY put all current guild members into our friends list?

That would be very guild friendly for large guilds, players who take breaks from the galaxy and new members entering a new guild.

I apologize if this is not the correct forum for such....but since it is purely a guild matter......*scribbles* it is here now.

Thanks for any thoughts and discussion on this easy checkbox idea.

That would work as well.

Just a bummer either option doesnt exist.......difficult to know and learn all who are part of your Galactic family (Guild) without an easy way........system already "Knows" who is our guildmates....should be not much to do to make it happen.

The friends list addition i think is more of an issue for new members who join an established guild. Afterall people already in a guild are able to add people to their lists as they are recruited by the guild. New members are held back by having to add everyone to their list (of course at their own choice, they don't have to).

Ya...the whole thing is a pain in the ass. You should be able to at least use the guild term and see all the current members instead of haveing to have a e-mail sent out by one of your leaders. In Final Fantasy 11 you have the ability to be a member of many guilds (called "Link Shells") and to change guilds you simply change the "shell" that you get from a leader. Under the Link Shell/Guild menu you had the option to view the names of all who had that shell equipted at the time.

I know a system would be hard to work into (have to redo the guild system from the ground up) but a search function would really be nice.

Kinda off topic but....I'm disapointed with the current search system in the game. I would like it if you could search...say the whole planet or even the galaxy instead of just a few hundered meters that it is now.
