Thread: Guild name change question

I'm on Eclipse, and we moved from Tatooine to Lok and our guild name was Tat Army Corp. So of course we needed to change our guild name. 9 days ago I changed it to Heroes Alliance <HERO> and nothing has changed yet. I haven't gotten a message saying there was a problem with it, could anyone tell me why?

It is very possible that another guild has that tag that you tried to use. You won't receive an error message when it doesn't go through (something that I've pointed out quite often to the Devs to change) so you will want to try the name change again with a different tag. Common words are very likely to not go through at all.

I tried Legion of Heroes with L'H as the tag, as I'm pretty sure I've never seen that one. Hopefully that will go through. Thanks for the fast response!

HERO is a new guild started by former members DoJ of on Radiant, you're about 2 weeks late or you would have got it.

yea but the origional poster was on Eclipse and you are on Radiant and as far as i know guild names are not carried over servers, they are just kept for that server. e.g. im on infinity my guild tag is so nobody else would be able to use that on infinity but somebody on farstar could use if they so wished and have no trouble with it.
