just got an email saying the guild elections have finished...... and it said THE INCUMBANT GUILD LEADER RETAINED THEIR OFFICE!!
how does that works... he hasnt been on in ages, and that is the reason there was an election in the first place....... something screwy is going on here

No problem, it is possible that the guild may start the next election in a week since the guild leader is still inactive, so maybe it'll work the second time if it does happen.
When the election does happen again, just try to get everyone in the guild possible to vote for someone because what is happening is its still counting the inactive votes for the original leader.

thats what i figured.... problem is not many members are still active

If you don't have enough actives to outnumber the inactives you could always try watering down your numbers. Get all your friends and friends of guildmembers to temporarily join the guild so they can vote for the leader then remove them once the vote goes through.
