Thread: /guildremove TARGET, as suggested by the online manual

In the "READ ME FIRST! Guild Encyclopedia!" sticky, first link "The Basic Manual" here:
http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/manual_detail.jsp?id=58680
we can find this nice piece of info:

/guildremove - remove target or self from your current guild

Now. Truth is, /guildremove TARGET instantly removes the player who wrote the command instead. In our case, me, the Guildmaster. The Guildmaster, who is a Jedi, and are now locked out from every safehouse we have.

Combined with the nice "Frozen Guild Terminal" issue, and the heavily busy CSR's due to the Combat Upgrade, and the internal problems in guild right now, things couldnt get any worse.

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

This command is bugged and it's something we've been asking to have fixed for a very long time. As for the terminal issue, there is another thread in this forum you can refer to for the status of that.

A warning about the incorrect manual in the sticky maybe?

It's in the PA Wishlist with us asking for both a confirmation box when it's used and that the target portion of it work.

I know the pain though, I've removed myself from my guild before trying to use it too.

I added a note at the bottom of my "Read this first!" Thread.

And just so you're aware, the official manual isn't anywhere near accurate anymore due to all the changes. I'm actually just going to remove that link completely.

Good enough
The in-game manual (CTRL+H) is actually fixed on this issue...
