I'm part of a small guild called HERO. I'm thinking of starting an airwing subgroup called HERO-AW. Will I have to plant a new hall to do this or can I join this with the main one? It wouldn't matter either way, but I'd like to still have access to HERO's guildchat.

You cannot create "subguilds". Everyone is either in one guild - HERO in your case - or they are in a totally separate guild - HERO-AW. There is no way to link guilds in that way to have them both in the same guild chat. The closest thing you could do would be to create a private chat channel for the two guilds and invite everyone from both to the channel. But you'd still have separate guild chat channels.

There could be crafter, combat, security subguilds, for example... that would add a new layer to player communities
That was what I was thinking. Hoped to have a HERO-AW (airwing)
