This post is very off topic for this forum as it has nothing to do with Guilds or Grouping, try reposting this in a more appropriate forum such as the Game Guides forum (which is where most questions go) or even in the ID profession forum since this is something they had asked for at one point.
I'm pretty sure Lucas Arts said no to species or gender changes for characters as a type of thing that would be allowed as it didn't fit into the SW universe. But you can always still ask in the right forum.
