Huzzah! for those of us stuck at work duringand just after patch timefor the foreseeable future, could we get a confirmation that this went in as planned? I hope something can be done for those folks that lost their terminal functionality and/or had 'null' elected.

That would be great. Unfortunately, unless I get over this cold real quick, I'll be at work.

ok, just for clarification, is this the same bug we have been dealing with for a while now with supposed "inactivity" of leaders that even play every day?

Yes, that's the one they fixed. Those emails shouldn't go out anymore. So far I haven't gotten one for about the last 9 hours. So far so good.

After this, the only time the elections should auto start is after 30 days of inactivity.

Did they fix the bug where the leader auto votes for themselves and since it is tied the old leader stays? I am in a dead guild that I want would like to rebuild, I am the only one that plays currently. When I vote for myself, since voting is open because the old leader hasn't played in months, and it says I have the only vote, when the election ends and I should have won the old leader stays leader.

That particular bug came about during the election fiasco they just fixed. Try running the elections again and have others besides just you vote and see if that fixes it. If he still retains, I'll make sure to repost that issue for the Devs.

That's the problem, I'm the only one left in the guild that can vote, all the other members quit the game.

I'm assuming you can't add members either. Hmm.. I'll make sure to raise the issue. But try the election one more time to see if perhaps this was fixed with this last patch.

So bassicallyhe has towait a month for a post-patch election to pop-up? Or will the sys recognize an inactive leader that was inactive prior to the patch? Or maybe it will check next server reset? Hows that work exactly?
Or prolly better off starting a new guild, I mean if no one is active, all u have to gain is the guild hall, its contents, and the guild tag.
